Sonja Vertainen will perform the movement The Ascending Line from my solo accordion suite Shapes at the concert Markus Nachtcafé #5 in a concert program by mussica assoluta in the Markuskirche in Hannover, Germany. More info can be found here.
Vino Ensemble conducted by Viena Kangas will sing the second movement ingenting from my piece Vidkänning, composed to a text by Henrika Ringbom. The concert will be performed at 6PM and 8PM at Vapaan Taiteen Tila, in Helsinki. Tickets 20/10/5€.
My orchestral piece ICE will get it’s Portuguese Premiere by the Gulbenkian Orchestra conducted by José Eduardo Gomes at the World New Music Days in Portugal. The concert will also include music by my colleagues Hawar Tawfiq, Murielle Lemay and Vasco Mendonça. More information can be found here.
Pianist Reetamaria Rajala will play the world premiere of the piano version of my suite Shapes. She will also be performing all my other so far published solo works for piano at Joensuun Musiikkijuhlat. The concert includes in addition to Shapes he works Epitaph, Characters, Under Stjärnhimlen, Unda, Piano Delirium and Psychedelic. Find more info here.

Ossi Tanner will perform my piece Epitaph at the final concert of Kangasala Classic. There will also be music by Agnes Tschetschulin, Helvi Leiviskä and Franz Schubert. More info can be found here and tickets can be found here.
My second Piano Quintet Aino – Emotions from the life of Aino Sibelius will be performed at the Sysmä Summer Sounds Festival. It will be performed at the chamber music concert by flautist Enna Puhakka, clarinetist Eeva Mäenluoma, violinist Linda Suolahti, cellist Markus Hohti and pianist Miikka Taipale. My piece Cura will be performed by violinist Daniel Rowland and pianist Matilda Kärkkäinen at Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival at concert number 55 (at the 55th edition of the festival).
My solo piano piece Psychedelic will be performed in Pori by Miikka Taipale. The program also includes music by Selim Palmgren and Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Tickets can be found here.

Tuomas Turriago will perform my piece Epitaph at his and Dimas Ruiz Santos recital in Vaasa. The concert also includes pieces for oboe and piano, composed by Jenny Hettne, Atso Almila and by Tuomas Turriago himself. More info can be found here.
My new work for women’s voice choir Vidare, hur långt, hur länge composed to a brand new text by poet Heidi von Wright was commissioned by the Exaudio Choir, who also will give the world premiere conducted by Hanna Kronqvist. Tickets can be found here.

Very honoured to get a own festival organised by Uuden Ajan Ensemble and Tapio von Boehm! On Sunday 9.3 my orchestral works Tundo!, Lucrum, Nixus, ICE and Wasteland and the orchestral version of my song cycle Dagbok will be performed, showcasing a decade of my compositions. Soprano Hedvig Paulig will be the soloist of Dagbok. The concert takes place in the House of Nobility and tickets can be found here.
