My third Piano Quintet Helene – Nuances from the Life of Helene Schjerfbeck will get it’s world premiere at the fifth Kokonainen Festival in Janakkala Church and will be live streamed on the festivals own Facebook page.
Paulina Riquelme studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart will perform Sydänlaulu (version for viola) at the event “Violissimo”.
The Finnish Broadcasting Company’s (YLE) program Kultuuriykkönen discussed music and ecology. Conductor Jutta Seppinen, guitarist Petri Kumela, musicology docent Juha Torvinen, me and journalist Vesa Kytöoja discussed what responsibilities composers, musicians and concert organisers have considering the climate crisis. The program includes three excerpts of my Requiem for Our Earth.

The Finnish Line conducted by Atte Heikkinen will perform At Teasdale’s at the VII International Leevi Madetoja Male Voice Choir Competition in the great hall of Helsinki Music Centre. Ticket 10 €.
The Swedish Gävle Symphony Orchestra conducted by Christian Reif will perform my piece Lucrum in their season program.
