The Polytech Choir conducted by Tatu Erkkilä is going to perform my piece At Teasdale’s at their spring concert at Lauttasaari Church. More information can be found here.
Competitor Bela Brichzin will play four movements from my solo accordion suite Shapes at the 47th International Accordion Competition 2024 in Pula, Croatia. He will be performing the movements I. “The Rhomb”, III. “Circles and Ellipses” , V. “Dots” and VI. “The Icosahedron”.
My piece Piano Delirium from 2009 will be performed by Reetamaria Rajala at her solo recital at the church of Ljungby. More info here.
Pianist Reetamaria Rajala played my Under Stjärnhimlen at the opening of the Finnish Embassy in Copenhagen.
My second string quartet Letters will be performed by the Berlin based Elaia Quartet at Stralsund, at the Northeastern coast of Germany. The concert also includes Leoš Janáček’s second string quartet Intimate Letters, the work that has inspired me to compose Letters.

Three movements from the solo accordion suite Shapes will be performed by Sonja Vertainen in Hannover. She will perform the movements I. “The Rhomb”, III. “Circles and Ellipses” and V. “Dots” at a concert organised by the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover (Hannover University of Music, Theatre and Media). Mezzo soprano Fanny Henn and pianist Kristian Attila will perform the song Du store Eros from my new song cycle Framtidens skugga composed to poems by Edith Södergran as part of Fanny Henn’s master recital. More info here. Free admission!
Three movements from the solo accordion suite Shapes will get their Belgian Premiere at Festival Accordeons-nous.org in the city Mons. The first prize winner Antons Pizāns (Lithuania) will perform the movements I. “The Rhomb”, III. “Circles and Ellipses” and V. “Dots” in the final gala concert, due to winning the first prize in the classical junior category.
