My new solo cello work Aveo op.82 composed for Jonathan Roozeman will be performed in Münster at the beautiful palace Erbdrostenhof. More info can be found here and tickets can be found here.
My new solo cello work Aveo op.82 composed for Jonathan Roozeman will get its German premiere in Bielefeld at the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle (Kleiner Saal). More info can be found here and tickets can be found here.
My second string quartet Letters will be performed by the Berlin based Elaia Quartet at the church of Balingen, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The concert also includes Leoš Janáček’s second string quartet Intimate Letters, the work that has inspired me to compose Letters. More information (in German) to the concert can be found here.
Vino Ensemble conducted by Viena Kangas will sing the Finnish premiere of my piece Vidkänning, composed to a text by Henrika Ringbom. The concert will take place at Vapaan Taiteen Tila, a former underground shelter located in Sörnäinen in Helsinki.
My piece Piano Delirium from 2009 will be performed by Reetamaria Rajala at Palladium in Malmö, Sweden.
My string orchestra piece Infirmus, a piece dedicated to everyone suffering from a chronic illness, will be performed by students from the Sibelius Academy and conducted by Mateusz Gwizdałła. The concert also includes music by my colleagues and friends Johan Ullén, Matilda Seppälä, Mateusz Gwizdałła, Matthew Whittall and Takashi Yoshimatsu. My solo cello work Aveo will be performed by Sirja Nironen at Kangasala Church on the Finnish Day of Music. Nironen and Kirill Kozlovski will play a variable repertoire together. The Austrian premiere of Groove will be performed by flutist Prof. Johanna Dömötör and accordionist Prof. Heidi Luosujärvi at Jubiläumskonzert 15 Jahre Forum Kammermusik. The concert will take place in Großer Saal, Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, Austria. More info can be found here.
