At the conferment ceremony of the Faculty of Law of the University of Helsinki my new 20 minute multilingual conferment cantata Science Frictions, composed to a new text by Cia Rinne, will be performed by counter tenor soloist David Hackston, The Academic Choral Society (Akateeminen laulu, AL) and Helsinki University Symphony Orchestra (Ylioppilaskunnan Soittajat, YS) conducted Elisar Riddelin. The event is private.

Violinist Kevin Huang will perform my piece Sydänlaulu at his recital at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

My second string quartet Letters will get its German Premiere at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, by Emma Mali, Pauline Karuga, Ada Koivukangas and Johanna Hanhikoski. The concert is at the Great Hall and has free entry.

Honoured to be invited to be one of the speakers at the Discussion Forum of the International Accordion Competition Klingenthal in Germany.

Three movements from the solo accordion suite Shapes will be obligatory pieces for the competitors in a certain age category at the International Accordion Competition Kingenthal in Germany. The movements that are eligible for the competition are I. “The Rhomb”, III. “Circles and Ellipses” and V. “Dots”.

The piece was performed by Luca Bello (Italy), Bela Brichzin (Germany), Hanyu Huang (China), Johannes Koivisto (Finland) and Jonas Vozbutas (Lithuania).
