The first movement "Aphrodite" and second movement "Persephone" from Celestial Beings will be performed by Aleksander Koelbel and Mina Fred from the ensemble Norrbotten NEO at the concert ”Souls of Ill Repute” of the RUSK festival. The new suite Renewables for solo accordion consists of eight movements, which are all obligatory pieces in the 50th anniversary accordion competition Minä soitan harmonikkaa ("I play accordion") organised by The Finnish Association for Accordion Teachers. A string trio from the Tampering Ensemble will perform my Nisus at the fifth Tampering Festival. This year's Tampering festival focuses on works composed during the pandemic and on works by Ukrainian composers.

At the first concert of the season, Joensuu City Orchestra will give a taster of the different pieces that are coming up during the fall season 2022, conducted by the conducting class from the Sibelius Academy. The young and talented conductor and composer Elisar Riddelin will conduct my piece Lucrum. The concert is for free.

Three movements from the solo accordion suite Shapes will be obligatory pieces for the competitors in a certain age category at the International Accordion Competition Kingenthal in Germany.
