VickVickan & Väinö is a bilingual (Swedish and Finnish) fairytale opera for children to the libretto and original story of Marina Motaleff. Cast: Hedvig Paulig soprano, Topias Lundell tenor, Aku Rantama baritone and Sonja Vertainen on accordion. Commissioned and produced by Opera BOX.
Helsinki Academic Male Choir KYL (“Kauppakorkeakoulun Ylioppilaskunnan Laulajat”), the male choir of the Student Union of Aalto University School of Business, is going to perform my piece At Teasdale’s at their concert Kultaa ja Platinaa conducted by Visa Yrjölä.

My second string quartet Letters will be performed by the Grani Quartet at the festival Kauniaisten musiikkijuhlat in the venue of Uusi Paviljonki in Kauniainen. The concert also includes Leoš Janáček’s second string quartet Intimate Letters, the work that has inspired me to compose Letters. Tickets to the concert can be found here.
The Swedish choir Orphei Drängar conducted by Cecilia Rydinger will perform the Latvian premiere of my piece At Teasdale’s at their concert.

My piece Piano Delirium from 2009 will be performed by the fantastic Reetamaria Rajala at the Finnish Music Concert at Malmö Museum. The concert is free, places to the concert have to be booked beforehand.
