My piano solo piece Epitaph, that was released on the splendid Ville Hautakangas’ debut album 12 Premieres, will from this day onalso be available on all streaming platforms! The whole album with all 12 pieces will be available on the 19th of January 2024.

Tuomas Turriago will perform my piece Epitaph at his recital at Hannikainen Hall in Jyväskylä. On the program is also music by Gubaidulina and Turriago himsel.

Looking forward to the world premiere of my new 22-minute accordion concerto Permafrost, commissioned and performed at the Kokkola Winter Accordion Festival. The world premiere will be performed in Kokkola by Sonja Vertainen and the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Jan Söderblom and including video art by Irene Suosalo. Three movements from the solo accordion suite Shapes will get their Bosnia and Herzegovina Premiere at the 76th Coupe Mondiale International Accordion Competition in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. My new solo cello work Aveo will be performed by Sirja Nironen at WAM Turku City Art Museum. Nironen and Mackenzie Melemed will play a variable repertoire together. More info coming later.
